Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ROTTERY collects, uses and protects information when you use the app.
Information we process
- Account information: a Firebase user ID and, if you connect Google or Apple, the name, email address and sign-in provider supplied by that service.
- App content: saved number sets, favorites, ticket details, settings, progress, notification choices and Ball Ranch game state.
- Location: only when you choose to verify a Local League region. Coordinates are sent securely for one-time region verification and are not stored. The verified country and state or province code may be stored for the current season.
- Device and service data: push notification tokens, app-verification signals, IP address and limited technical logs used for delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Subscription data: your store product, purchase token or transaction identifiers, account binding, subscription status and expiry, and first-payment gift history. Apple or Google processes payments; ROTTERY does not receive your card details.
- Advertising data: when advertising is enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics. Consent choices determine whether eligible ads may be personalized.
How we use information
We use this information to provide account access, sync saved content, check user-entered tickets against available draw data, send requested notifications, operate anonymous regional leaderboards, prevent abuse, fix errors and display advertising.
Service providers and sharing
ROTTERY uses Google services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Check, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Google Mobile Ads. Netlify runs the online Ranch service and processes account-verification tokens, gameplay actions, technical request data and coordinates supplied for region verification. GitHub Actions runs scheduled ticket-result checks. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We do not sell personal information. We do not share precise coordinates with other users or publish names, emails or raw account IDs on leaderboards.
Storage and retention
Account and cloud content is kept while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Practice Ranch currency, upgrades and equipment are stored on this device separately for each account; signing out preserves that account's local progress. Deleting an account removes its cloud content and its local progress on the device where deletion is requested. Security and service logs may be retained by our providers for their documented retention periods. Other data stored only on a device remains there until you reset the app, clear its storage or uninstall it.
Subscription records are used to verify access, restore purchases, process renewals and refunds, and prevent duplicate gifts. Account deletion removes the active subscription records and gift inventory. We retain a minimal account-deletion marker and one-way purchase ownership fingerprints to prevent a deleted purchase from being reused on another account. Store providers retain their own payment records. Deleting a ROTTERY account does not cancel a store subscription.
Your choices
You can decline location and notification permissions and continue using the app's core number-generation features. Where required, you can choose personalized or non-personalized advertising. You can delete a connected account in the app or follow our account deletion instructions.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption, authenticated access controls and app-verification checks. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we limit collection to information needed for the features described above.
Age and lottery notice
ROTTERY is intended for adults aged 18 or older. It is an entertainment and information companion only. It does not sell tickets, accept wagers or improve the mathematical odds of winning.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Privacy questions can be sent through our support page.
